Times: The Martyrs of
On November 24, the Church
celebrates the memorial of the Vietnamese Martyrs. In 1988, Pope John Paul II canonized all 117
of these holy men, women, and children killed between 1625 and 1886. Today, this group and the thousands of other
unnamed Vietnamese martyrs they represent stand as a luminous cloud of
witnesses to the Church throughout the world.
