“Sister Sunday” Book Club

Join your sisters in Christ for this special “Sister Sunday” Book Club as we read and discuss, Having a Mary Spirit by Joanna Weaver.  Bring your sister, your mom, a friend, or come and make new friends.  Drawing on the stories of the biblical Marys (Mary, mother of Jesus; Mary, sister of Martha; and, Mary Magdalene) and others whose experience with God transformed their lives, the author shows us how we can find what we long for:  hope, healing, wholeness, and joy.  Books can be pre-purchased at the Parish Center for $14.00.  This book club will take place in our Parish Library (located next to the playground) beginning at 7:00 PM and concluding by 8:30 PM.

Spiritual Book Club

Rediscover virtue as it should be understood in our lives. With his customary wit, warmth, and wisdom, the author, Father Benedict Groeschel, reintroduces the seven virtues in his book titled, The Virtue Driven Life.  One by one he makes each virtue meaningful for modern men and women and demonstrates how each has a real role in a whole and holy life.  Our book club meets in the Parish Library (located next to the playground).  Sessions begin at 7:00 PM and conclude by 8:30 PM.  Books can be pre-purchased for $13.00 at the Parish Center or during any of the sessions.
