General Information

Baptism Instruction Sessions

  Parents and Godparents must attend a Pre-Baptismal Class before the Baptism takes place. Prior to attending this session, parents are requested to pre-register for the class by contacting the Parish House Office (215) 855-1311. Although instruction sessions are mandatory for both Parents and Godparents, you are required to attend one time only. If you have attended previously you are not required to come again. Ideally, attendance at a class should occur before the child's birth. Godparents must be practicing Catholics who have passed their 16th birthday, have been confirmed, be married in the Catholic Church (if married), and have an Eligibility Certificate from their parish. Certificates of Eligibility must be brought to the Parish House Office at least one week prior to the Baptism. Upcoming sessions are scheduled in the RE Room (in the Church).
 

Baptisms

Baptisms are administered at 1:30 pm on every Sunday. 

Daily Prayer Chapel

Those who wish to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament during the day may do so in the Church Chapel. The Chapel is open every day from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Please enter the chapel using the entrance walk on the side on the Parish House facing Supplee Road. The main Church is closed after the last Mass each morning. 

Eucharistic Adoration

Wednesdays from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm Eucharistic Adoration is scheduled every Wednesday, from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm in the Church Chapel. Benediction is at 6:30 pm. (Marian devotions immediately following, please see below). Please enter the chapel using the entrance walk on the side of the Parish House facing Supplee Road. Legion of Mary

Wednesday evenings, 7:30 - 9:00 pm, in the Ministry Room of Corpus Christi Church. New members are sincerely welcomed at all meetings. 

Marian Devotions

Devotions honoring the Immaculate Heart of Mary are offered following Benediction on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Prayers to St. Peregrine, Patron Saint of Cancer Patents, including veneration of his relic, are also offered on the first and third Wednesday of every month in the Church Chapel. 

Marriages

Couples who are planning to be married are required to notify one of the parish priests no less than six months prior to the marriage. 

Our Lady of Hope Prayer Line

The Prayer Line may be called if you are in need of prayer. Call Anna Marie (215) 368-4672 or Ann (215) 256-6101. 

Prayer Group

ALL are invited to the meets on Thursday Evenings in the Church Chapel at 8:00 pm. 

Pregnancy Hotline

1-800-CARE-002 1-800-227-3002 24-hour/7 days per week hotline for individuals seeking assistance with pregnancy. Offers assistance to explore pro-life option, supportive counseling and linkage with needed resources. 

Registration

Our diocese requires that all Catholics should be registered in the parish of their residences. If you have moved into our parish and have not registered with us, it is important that you call the Parish House Office (215) 855-1311 and make arrangements to do so as soon as possible. Certificates of Eligibility to act as a sponsor for Baptism or Confirmation, or as a Witness at Marriage, cannot be issued unless you are previously registered with us. 

Rosary

Weekdays - recited before the 8:00 am Mass, Monday - Saturday. Miraculous Medal Devotions after the 8:00 am Mass on Saturday. Rosary and Prayers for World Peace in the Church Chapel on Sunday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
